What happens to my resume once I send it in?
|
|
We add your resume to our confidential database using career codes
and pertinent background information. Depending on your career
path and interests, one of our project coordinators or account
executives may contact you for more information. That person will
attempt to determine if you're a match for the specific job you're
interested in or for any other opportunities we're working on.
Once your resume is in our database we can review it later for
other possible job matches.

Will you send my resume out to companies without
my knowledge?
|
|
No. We do not circulate your resume to anyone without your consent.
Everything that you send to us or say to us is held in strict confidence
unless and until you give your permission for us to share it with
a company and the company expresses an interest in learning about
you specifically.

How long will it take before I might be able to interview
with one of your client companies?
|
|
That varies greatly, depending on your background and desires
and the need of our client companies. It could take several days,
several weeks or longer to find the right match.

Do I have to pay any fees?
|
|
Never. Our client companies pay all fees.
|

How can I make best use of your services?
|
|
Stay in touch with us about changes in your work experience, needs,
interest and availability. Be honest and straightforward with us;
we intend to do the same with you.

How do you find candidates?
|
|
We use our well-developed and confidential network to find highly
qualified and successful individuals who are not necessarily seeking
new jobs but who are interested in career growth and development.
In a typical search we might speak to 100-200 people to find two
to four highly qualified candidates for your consideration.

How do you screen candidates?
|
|
Our finely tuned process requires us to spend a great deal of
time with individual candidates to discover their work experience
and accomplishments and to thoroughly understand their interests,
their needs, and their motivation to make a change. We only present
to you candidates who match your requirements and those who are
seriously interested in opportunities like yours.

What are your fees?
|
|
We provide services on either a retained or a contingency basis.
Fees vary depending on the urgency of your staffing needs, number
of positions to be filled and other factors.

What about relocating new employees?
|
|
Because we're part of a networking system, we are able to locate
candidates from many locations, with a focus on the eight hub areas – New
York/New Jersey, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas/Austin, Denver,
San Francisco/Bay area and southern California. The Oceanside Group
has a national alliance with services that help candidates with
every aspect of relocation, taking the pressure off the employer.
